Company Confidential seeks a Senior Linux Engineer in New York, NY to provide Linux, Unix, and Solaris support in financial services environment, which includes automating support tasks. Design and engineer solutions for DNS, LDAP, NIS, Mail, Linux and Solaris environments, including kernel settings, network card selection, configuration management and monitoring, and design, document and support clustered solutions.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and 6 years of progressively responsible experience as a Systems Administrator responsible for the offered job duties.
